A song by Casting Crowns

"Praise You In This Storm"I was sure by nowGod You would have reached downAnd wiped our tears awayStepped in and saved the dayBut once again, I say "Amen", and it's still rainingAs the thunder rollsI barely hear Your whisper through the rain"I'm with you"And as Your mercy fallsI raise my hands and praise the God who givesAnd takes awayAnd I'll praise You in this stormAnd I will lift my handsFor You are who You areNo matter where I amAnd every tear I've criedYou hold in Your handYou never left my sideAnd though my heart is tornI will praise You in this stormI remember whenI stumbled in the windYou heard my cry to youAnd you raised me up againMy strength is almost goneHow can I carry onIf I can't find YouBut as the thunder rollsI barely hear You whisper through the rain"I'm with you"And as Your mercy fallsI raise my hands and praise the God who givesAnd takes awayI lift my eyes unto the hillsWhere does my help come from?My help comes from the LordThe Maker of Heaven and Earth

I'm back!!

It's been so long since I've updated my blog! We have been in Grand Rapids almost the whole month of march because my grandma was sick and then she died. I'm glad to be back home, although it feels so unreal how life just continues to go on when somebody so close to you dies. My grandma was one of my dearest friends and my heart aches from missing her. On our way home from G.R. we stopped by R.E.I. and picked up the BOB jogging stoller we had on order! I could'nt tell who was more excited, Joshua or Zachary! Seriously, it's probably one of the nicest things we've ever owned. I can hardly wait for sunny days to come so we can get out and get some exercise.

Our week in pictures

Today Joshua and Zachary made a pizza for lunch- Joshua loves to cook! God knows he didn't get that from me, but hey I think it's great!! And we saw his cousins in Grand Rapids too- The little babe is Vyncent who is 8 mo. and the beautiful blonde girl is his cousin Marissa who lives in Muskegon and is 9. And Joshua had a blast on the train ride he got at the mall on the opening day for the play area at Meridian Mall. I didn't think it was that great of a play area, but at least they have one now- the malls in G.R. have ginormous play areas.

Pavlova!

This is a picture of an australian dessert Zachary made yesterday. Isn't it beautiful? And it tastes great too!! He is so creative and handy in the kitchen.I'm glad he still married me even when I told him I cannot cook or bake a thing. It's sad but true. I would like to try and learn though... On another note, Joshua handed me my glasses today and they looked like this. Broken. I wanted to just cry. But I held it together. He broke my last pair too. Maybe I should get rubber glasses this time. Or better yet, learn how to put them out of reach.

Our new house...

Today was a very quiet stay home most of the day day. Not much was accomplished except the new home Joshua made. For the birds! He loves crafts and I think it's so funny because Zachary does too! Well, together they had a great time, and I had fun watching. Doesn't it remind you of Punky Brewster?

I have entered the land of Blog!

So now I am a blogger and Zachary cannot make fun of me any longer because he basically set up the whole account!! I'm sure he enjoyed every minute of it too...Today is the most boring day of them all and none of us here have even showered or changed out of our pajama's- I know we are disgusting bums. Other than that, just trying like maniacs to get Joshua to potty train and stop going in his diaper like a heathen.
